Dr. Shelly Kamin-Friedman (LL.B, M.H.A, Ph.D) is a specialist in health law and public health law. Her research focuses on the ethical and legal aspects of public health policy and curative medicine. She is specifically interested in finding the appropriate balance between individual rights and public interest when setting health policy.
Dr. Kamin-Friedman is also an activist in the Israeli association of public health physicians and a research fellow at Zulat Institute for Equality and Human Rights. She works to promote health rights via policy papers, media, and Knesset Committee meetings.
