What is health systems management
Health systems management covers the practical and theoretical issues necessary for managing organizations and groups in the healthcare sector. The approach is multidisciplinary, combining management (economy, organizational policy and business management) together with social, environmental and medical aspects. We seek students who wish to acquire the skills necessary to manage complex organizations/systems.
Aims of the teaching program
The department provides broad practical and theoretical background important for managing organizations and groups. The department believes in a multidisciplinary approach combining management (economy, organizational policy and business management) together with social, environmental and medical aspects. The degree awarded in the Master of Health Administration (MHA).
Research
The research issues focus on the evaluation of health services, health economics and legal and ethical issues in healthcare.
